The St James school community is well-supported by the Parents and Friends (P&F) Association. The P&F actively supports the students, parents, teachers, staff and the wider community to nurture kind, resilient, innovative and self-motivated students. We do this voluntarily with energy, commitment, love and a can-do attitude because we believe supporting our school community enhances positive outcomes for the students.
The P&F meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm and meetings generally are for an hour (video conferencing options are available). Our meetings share school news, report on P&F events and organise fund-raising initiatives and social gatherings throughout the year. Parents are always most welcome to attend these monthly meetings and volunteer at events when they can. Additionally, the P&F manages and runs the school tuckshop.
